Janay is a wife, mother, Bible teacher, and speaker who shares God’s truth with humor and candor. After seven years on a church staff, she began speaking full time in 2012. Since then she has traveled the country encouraging others in all aspects of life, including motherhood & marriage, and bringing comfort and hope to those walking the hard paths of miscarriage and abortion recovery. Janay has served in churches as an adult Bible study teacher, youth leader, and children’s Bible teacher. She spent three years serving as a BSF children’s leader and in 2020 shared her heart in a limited podcast series, “A Drop of Encouragement”. She currently serves as the Director of the Primer school at Classical School of Dallas, combining her leadership skills with her passion for discipling children from a young age.
Janay did her undergrad work at Baylor University and has a Masters in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary. Although a native Texan, Janay spent some of her childhood living overseas in the Western Asia with her family and on the east coast in the Washington D.C. area. Janay met her husband Maurice at church and they have been married since 2009 and have two children ages 12 and 11.
